Tonight was so much fun! I took Cali to Doggie Playgroup at our favorite Trainers, Cindy @ Regarding Rover and Cali did AWESOME!! The other dogs there tonight were a Beauceron, a Giant Rottie, and a yellow lab. They all had a blast! who would think that 4 totally random dogs could have such a blast off leash together!! They were all sweethearts! Lots of play and absolutely no fighting :) Cali fit right in, it was her first week at Playgroup and she was a rockstar! No fear, eager to meet everyone and just had a blast with big and small dogs alike! I'm so proud of my Cali Girl!! After class we went right to Petco and bout her 2 new Kongs as a reward! Now she is fast asleep (so worn out from playing) that I can hear her happy bulldog snores all the way in the other room! Love her!

It's official!! Dozer is a graduate!! He made us so proud tonight as he did each and every one of his required test correctly!! Great job Buddy!!! Your AWESOME and we're so proud!! :)
Roxy is doing great adjusting to her new life here in America! She has had a great time getting to know her new brother Diesel, our family's 6 year old German Shorthair Pointer. They are great friends :) Roxy is working on potty training and is doing a GREAT job!! I can't even remember the last accident she's had!! We converted the side yard of our home to a giant puppy litter box, basically we filled it in with pea gravel and so far so good, she is using it!! Now to convince Diesel that's where he should go to...after going in the grass for the last 6 years I have a feeling it may be hard to break that habit. Oh well, it's worth a try...wouldn't it be heavenly to be able to send the kids out back and not have to quick scoop the yard first?? Other than potty training, Roxy has also been going to Puppy Kindergarten. She is having a great time in class..she is definitely not shy!! What a playful girl!! She's working on Sit, Down, Stand and the basics of recall right now and is learning VERY quickly!! We are very impressed!!  |
