Roxy is doing great adjusting to her new life here in America! She has had a great time getting to know her new brother Diesel, our family's 6 year old German Shorthair Pointer. They are great friends :) Roxy is working on potty training and is doing a GREAT job!! I can't even remember the last accident she's had!!
We converted the side yard of our home to a giant puppy litter box, basically we filled it in with pea gravel and so far so good, she is using it!! Now to convince Diesel that's where he should go to...after going in the grass for the last 6 years I have a feeling it may be hard to break that habit. Oh well, it's worth a try...wouldn't it be heavenly to be able to send the kids out back and not have to quick scoop the yard first??
Other than potty training, Roxy has also been going to Puppy Kindergarten. She is having a great time in class..she is definitely not shy!! What a playful girl!! She's working on Sit, Down, Stand and the basics of recall right now and is learning VERY quickly!! We are very impressed!!
